The Samuel and Bennie Patterson Community Development Corporation was established in 2005 by Pastor Richard E. Patterson, Sr. It is the dream of Pastor Patterson to celebrate the rich legacy left to him by his parents, Samuel and Bennie Patterson.  The organization received 501 (c) (3) approval in 2006.

This organization is located on the premises of the St. Samuel Temple Church of God in Christ a 51 year ministry in Chicago, IL.  St. Samuel Temple was established by the late Pastor Samuel Patterson in 1957.

This foundation is committed to instilling the necessary disciplines to lead a productive life.  By using biblical principles and examples of successful individuals past and present we can achieve our goal.  We endeavor to help the lost at any cost.

It is our goal to establish, forgiveness, restoration, and reconciliation in family relationships.  The family is the fabric which makes communities liveable, profitable and attractive.

It is our belief  that collaboration is necessary with various organizations within and without the community.  The church is one such organization and to date St. Samuel Temple has been the funding source for the programs put forth by this organization.  We need to expand our sources to meet desired goals and objectives.  We also need a separate location to house and develop present and future programs.  We seek the assistance of individuals, partnerships and corporations to help us with property needs and funds.

Our Pastor also established the Disciple House another Illinois Corporation under the umbrella of the Samuel & Bennie Patterson CDC.  The Disciple House is a "vision work" consisting of a house, or houses transitional in nature.  For more about this vision click the above lind.

This organization with its base can make a tremendous impact in the community it is positioned to serve.  Help to this organization is help to mankind.

Help us turn a dream into hope and hope into reality.
